Product Info

Penny End T Hinges Black for ledge & brace doors, cupboards and cabinets. Also known as Tee Hinges and Strap Hinges, these traditional black hinges offer authentic period style for your interior doors. Beautiful hand forged hinges, individually crafted on the anvil from mild steel, finished with a black coating and a layer of natural beeswax. The penny end design is a classic choice for period properties and modern homes alike. Co-ordinate with our range of Hand Forged Suffolk Latches.

Please note: Beeswax is used as a protective layer and can be sticky to touch. Remove excess wax with a mild solvent and a soft cloth. Maintain your hand forged item with an occasional rub of beeswax.

Sizing Tip: We recommend choosing a hinge size to cover between half and two-thirds the door width. For example: a standard 30 inch door would be best fitted with 18 inch hinges.
