Our pewter door bolts are individually hand forged on the anvil from high quality mild steel. These traditional shepherd's crook bolts are available in two sizes: 4 inch and 6 inch.  The 4 inch bolt is incredibly versatile and can be fitted to all types of internal timber doors, including stable doors. The bolts have a leaf-sprung mechanism and can be used both vertically and horizontally.

For levels that are flush, choose the straight pewter bolts. These are supplied with a receiver bridge and mortice plate. Off-set levels will require a cranked bolt (also called neck or swan neck bolts) and these come with a mortice plate. Co-ordinate with our full range of pewter Hand Forged Door Furniture.
