These fire rated ball bearing butt hinges are certified fire rated and are available in 2 sizes, 3 inch and 4 inch as well as 4 finishes: polished brass, antique brass, chrome and nickel. Ball bearing butt hinges (also called ball race hinges) are considered heavy duty door hinges and will last longer than standard hinges due to the ball bearing sections between the joints on the knuckle. The ball bearings on this style of butt hinge help to lessen friction-wear damage. Suitable for front doors.
