  • Mortice and rim door knobs
  • Large door pull handles

Products are available in different functions and fixing arrangements. Before ordering, check the door thickness, handing, spindle size, latch or lock type, fixing centres and intended location.

Window Furniture

The window furniture collection includes fittings for traditional and contemporary timber windows. Depending on the design, products may include casement fasteners, espagnolette handles, window stays, sash fittings and fanlight hardware.

Window fittings are not universally interchangeable. Check the window construction, fixing positions, handle spindle and locking mechanism before replacing existing hardware.

Cabinet Hardware

Complete kitchens, utility rooms, wardrobes and freestanding furniture with coordinating cabinet hardware. The From The Anvil cabinet range includes:

  • Cabinet and cupboard knobs
  • Pull handles and cup pulls
  • Edge pulls and flush fittings
  • Cabinet latches and catches
  • Decorative hinges and accessories

Available styles range from understated solid-brass knobs to textured, hammered and hand-finished designs. Check the overall dimensions, projection and fixing centres before drilling new or replacement cabinetry.

Hand-Forged Ironmongery

Selected From The Anvil products are forged and finished using traditional methods. Hand-forged ranges include hinges, latches, bolts, hooks, curtain fittings and other architectural hardware.

Forging and hand finishing can produce subtle variations in texture and colour. These differences are part of the character of the product rather than manufacturing defects.

Black beeswax and pewter finishes are particularly well suited to cottages, barns, period properties and natural timber doors. Their environmental suitability varies, so check whether the selected product and finish are intended for internal or external use.

Lighting and Home Hardware

The wider collection also includes wall lights, pendant lighting and other decorative fittings for living spaces. Home hardware includes coat hooks, robe hooks, brackets, curtain poles and matching accessories.

Lighting products must be installed in accordance with their instructions and appropriate electrical regulations. Confirm the product’s location rating before using it in a bathroom, outdoors or another area exposed to moisture.

Home and Garden Accessories

Selected From The Anvil home and garden products include planters, vases, fireside accessories, log holders, companion sets, boot racks and statement pieces for traditional and contemporary surroundings.

Not every decorative item is suitable for outdoor use. Review the individual product description for material, drainage, weather resistance, dimensions and care guidance before placing an item outside.

Marine-Grade Stainless Steel Hardware

Selected entrance and architectural fittings are manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel to provide increased corrosion resistance. Products may include pull handles, door knockers, bolts and other exterior hardware in polished or satin finishes.

Marine-grade stainless steel is particularly useful for exposed and coastal environments, but it still requires appropriate care. Salt, dirt and atmospheric deposits should be removed regularly using the recommended cleaning method.

Only products specifically described as marine-grade or suitable for coastal use should be selected for those environments. This specification does not apply to the entire From The Anvil collection.

Materials and Finishes

From The Anvil hardware is available in a broad selection of materials and finishes, including:

  • Antique, burnished, polished and satin brass
  • Aged, polished and white bronze
  • Black, black beeswax and pewter
  • Polished chrome, satin chrome and polished nickel
  • Rosewood, ebony and other selected natural materials
  • Polished and satin marine-grade stainless steel
  • Copper and other decorative finishes on selected home products

Some finishes are designed to change naturally through handling and exposure. Polished brass, bronze, beeswax and other living finishes may darken, lighten or develop a patina over time.

Creating a Coordinated Hardware Scheme

Many From The Anvil designs are available across several product categories, allowing door handles, window fittings, cabinet knobs, hinges and accessories to be coordinated throughout a room or property.

Even when products share a finish name, slight colour and texture variations may occur between different materials and manufacturing processes. For the closest match, choose items from the same product family and review the individual finish information.

Choosing the Right Product

Before ordering, check the dimensions, material, set contents, fixing method and intended environment shown on the individual listing. Pay particular attention to compatibility when purchasing locks, latches, window mechanisms, hinges or electrical products.
