Modern TUPAI Lever-on-Rose Door Handles

TUPAI lever-on-rose handles have a compact backplate that gives the door a clean, streamlined appearance. Their contemporary shapes range from softly curved levers to sharper angular designs.

The range includes styles such as Perdrada, Pico, Montemuro, Rocha, Nevosa, Cedro, Santinha, Ruivo and Torres. Availability varies because these products are being offered at reduced prices while stocks last.

Round and Square Rose Handles

Choose between round and square rose designs according to the style of your interior:

• Round rose door handles provide a softer profile that works well with curved or gently shaped levers.
• Square rose door handles create a sharper architectural appearance suited to modern doors and interiors.

Many TUPAI handles feature a slim 6mm rose. Check the individual technical drawing for the exact rose size, lever projection and fixing measurements.

TUPAI Door Handle Finishes

The current collection is available in four principal finishes:

• Black Pearl for a deep, contemporary finish
• Nickel Pearl for a softer metallic appearance
• Satin Chrome for a clean, lightly brushed look
• Titan for a darker, understated metallic tone

Finish availability differs by product and may reduce as remaining stock is sold. If you need matching handles for several doors, order the required quantity together where possible.

Solid Brass and Zinc Alloy Handles

The collection contains both solid brass door handles and zinc alloy door handles. The material depends on the individual design rather than the selected finish.

For example, selected styles such as the Cedro are manufactured from solid brass, while others, including Perdrada and Montemuro, are made from zinc alloy. Check the material specification on each product page if this is important to your project.

What Is Included with TUPAI Handles?

TUPAI lever handles are sold as a pair, providing one handle for each side of the door. Selected products are supplied with a fixing kit and mortice spindle.

A tubular latch, bathroom lock, sash lock or Euro-profile lock is not normally included with the handles unless clearly stated on the product listing. The correct locking or latching component should be ordered separately.

Matching Escutcheons

Matching round and square escutcheons are available for doors that require key or cylinder access. Choose the type that corresponds to your lock:

• Standard keyhole escutcheons for compatible traditional lever locks
• Euro-profile escutcheons for compatible Euro cylinders and locks

The escutcheon shape should normally match the handle rose. A square-rose handle can be paired with a square escutcheon, while a round-rose handle works with the corresponding round design.

Bathroom Turn-and-Release Sets

Matching TUPAI bathroom turn-and-release sets are available with round or square roses. These provide internal privacy control and an external release fitting for compatible bathroom doors.

The turn and release must be paired with a suitable bathroom lock or deadbolt. Check the spindle size, door thickness and required lock type before ordering.

Choosing the Correct Door Function

The handle and accessories required will depend on how the door is used:

• Passage doors generally require handles and a compatible tubular latch.
• Bathroom doors require handles, a bathroom lock or deadbolt and a matching turn-and-release set.
• Key-locking doors require a suitable sash lock and standard keyhole escutcheons.
• Euro-cylinder doors require a compatible Euro-profile lock, cylinder and Euro escutcheons.

What to Measure Before Ordering

Before choosing a TUPAI handle or accessory, check:

• The lever length and projection
• The rose dimensions and thickness
• The fixing centres
• The spindle size and required length
• The thickness of the door
• The type and backset of the latch or lock
• The position of any keyhole or cylinder aperture
• Whether the rose will cover existing holes or marks

Refer to the product dimensions and fitting instructions before drilling or modifying the door.

Internal and Commercial Applications

TUPAI handles are primarily presented as contemporary internal door furniture. They can suit homes, offices and other modern interiors, subject to the specification of the individual product.

For commercial, high-traffic or fire-door applications, confirm that the complete handle, latch, lock, fixings and door assembly meet the required performance and certification standards. Do not assume that every handle in the collection is fire-rated.

Caring for TUPAI Door Handles

Clean the handles with a soft, lightly dampened cloth and dry them afterwards. Avoid abrasive pads, metal polish and strong chemical cleaners, as these may scratch or affect the decorative finish.

Take care to protect the handles from paint, plaster dust and building chemicals during installation or decorating.
