Ceramic Door Knobs

Choosing ceramic door knobs

Before ordering ceramic door knobs, check whether your door uses a standard mortice latch, bathroom lock or rim lock. Most ceramic door knobs are designed for mortice latch or mortice lock fittings, but individual product details should always be checked before ordering.

Ceramic door knobs are a good choice for bedrooms, bathrooms, wardrobes and lighter interiors. Plain white designs give a simple traditional look, while crackle and gold-accented finishes add more decorative detail.

For bathrooms, remember that privacy is usually provided by a bathroom lock and separate turn and release, not by the ceramic knob itself. If the door is used regularly with wet hands, make sure the knob shape and latch action feel comfortable in daily use.

Matching ceramic door knobs with other hardware
