Satin Nickel Door Knobs

Satin nickel door knobs offer a soft brushed finish that works well on internal doors, bathrooms, painted doors and neutral interiors. The finish is less reflective than polished chrome or polished nickel, making it a useful choice where you want a quieter metal finish.

Our satin nickel door knobs are supplied in pairs with a mortice bar and fixings. Selected styles are also available as latch sets or bathroom sets, depending on the product, with options for tubular latches, bathroom locks and turn and release fittings.

Satin Nickel sits within our wider chrome and nickel finish group. Choose satin nickel for a softer brushed appearance, polished chrome for a brighter reflective finish, or polished nickel for a slightly warmer reflective tone.

For added choice, similar designs are also available in polished chrome, satin brass, aged brass and matt bronze finishes.

For co-ordinating hardware, browse our door plates, butt hinges, door stops, keyhole escutcheons and bathroom turn and releases. For more guidance, read our Door Knobs Explained guide or our practical guide on how to choose door knobs.

Choosing satin nickel door knobs

Satin Nickel is a good choice if you want a softer metal finish than polished chrome. It works well in bathrooms, modern interiors, utility rooms, neutral schemes and rooms where a highly reflective finish would feel too bright.

Before ordering, check whether the door uses a standard mortice latch, bathroom lock or rim lock. Most satin nickel door knobs are designed for mortice fittings, but individual product details should always be checked before ordering.

If you are coordinating hardware across several rooms, compare satin nickel with polished chrome and polished nickel before choosing. Satin nickel has a softer brushed appearance, polished chrome is cooler and brighter, and polished nickel has a warmer reflective tone.

For warmer finish alternatives, you may also wish to compare satin brass door knobs, aged brass door knobs or matt bronze door knobs.

Matching satin nickel door knobs with other hardware

Satin nickel door knobs can be paired with door plates, butt hinges, door stops, keyhole escutcheons, bathroom turns and matching door handles where available.

Where exact finish matching is important, check product details carefully. Nickel, chrome and mixed-material products can vary slightly between suppliers, product types and base materials.
