Tudor Door Bolts are traditional black cast iron bolts with a hardwearing UV and rust resistant coating. These bolts are an ideal choice if you require additional security for your garden gate or barn door. Available in two sizes, either straight or cranked. The cranked version is supplied with a receiver plate and the straight bolt has a receiver bridge. These gate bolts are designed to co-ordinate with the door furniture in our Garden Gate Furniture Collection. 

Note: Our Cranked Bolts only come with the receiver plate and NOT both receiver plate and receiver bridge.

Tip: Straight bolts are for fitting across levels which are flush. Cranked bolts are for off-set levels.

Note: Not suitable for coastal locations.

Please note: Cast iron is a ferrous metal. The black coating is rust resistant, however rust will appear if the coating becomes worn or damaged, especially around moving parts. Before fitting, and for ongoing maintenance, we advise the application a light oil onto moving parts and screw holes to prevent corrosion. See our helpful article How To Prevent Rust Spots.
