These black cabin hooks are hand forged hook and eye latches for your home. A traditional shepherds crook latch hook to safely hold doors, windows and shutters in place. Antique style door furniture has timeless appeal and works well in period properties as well as modern interiors wanting to inject some vintage charm. 

Cabin hooks have two parts: a hook section that is fitted to the wall, and an eye or receiver part that is affixed to a door, window or shutter.

These hook eye latches are available in a wide range of sizes, from 4 inches to 18 inches. Whether you are looking for an extra-long cabin hook to fit across a wide space, or a tiny hook to hold a door close to a wall, we have the perfect size for your needs.

These cabin hooks are hand forged from the finest mild steel using traditional ironmongery methods. The durable black powder coating provides a stylish look as well as offering protection for interior use.

Please note: mild steel is a ferrous metal that will rust when exposed to prolonged damp conditions. If the hardwearing black coating becomes chipped or damaged, rusting may occur. Please see our advice in our How To Remove Rust Spots guide. We do not recommend this cabin hook for external use.
