Product Info

The Cottage Latch Black offers quintessential cottage style for your doors. This traditional ring latch is ideal for period properties, barn conversions and new homes.

Made using traditional ironmongery methods, this hand forged cottage latch comprises a hand cast rectangular backplate with a hand forged latch bar, ring turn handle and keeper. Designed for ledge and brace timber doors, it pairs perfectly with our matching Black T Hinges.

Cottage Latches are available in left and right handed versions. If you're unsure which handing you need, please refer to our Cottage Latch Handing Guide.

Please note: The rectangular backplate is designed to be fitted to the side of the door that opens towards you.

Free Delivery £100+:
Free UK Mainland* weekday delivery. Orders under 2kg ship via Royal Mail; over 2kg via DPD. Orders placed after 1pm, or Friday 12pm–Sunday, dispatch the next working day.

Standard Delivery (Under £100):

£6.95 for UK Mainland*. Delivery in 1–3 working days. Same dispatch rules as above.

Next Working Day:

£9.00. Order by 1pm Mon–Thurs. - We cannot offer Next Day delivery for Orders to Scotland

Morning Delivery:

By 10:30am (£21.50) or 12 noon (£14.00). Order by 1pm Mon–Thurs. - We cannot offer Next Day delivery for Orders to Scotland

Saturday Delivery:
£25.00. Order by Friday 12pm. - We cannot offer Next Day delivery for Orders to Scotland.

We are closed weekends. Local collection available Mon–Thurs 8–4, Fri 8–2.
International delivery prices shown at checkout.

Returns

Fill in the online returns form ensuring your order number is also included in or on the parcel, alternatively please include a completed returns slip with the items you are returning .

Important: please ensure products are carefully packaged in their original packaging and re-boxed to prevent any damage in transit. We can only issue refunds for items that are returned in undamaged condition and suitable for resale.

Returns are accepted within 60 days (after this, a 20% restocking fee may apply).

Refunds will be issued within 7-10 days once items have been received and checked.

For orders that are faulty/damaged upon arrival, please send a photo to: info@suffolklatchcompany.co.uk. We are unable to offer free returns unless the product is faulty.

International Returns

All International returns must be processed through our Global-E returns portal.

Replacement Policy

We will replace any product that breaks or fails within 12 months. Email a photo and proof of purchase.
