Product Info

Suffolk Latches are a timeless classic for ledge & brace doors. Our Suffolk Latch Black is an authentic design, with a traditional penny end style. A beautiful hand forged latch, made from mild steel, finished with a black coating and layer of beeswax.

Co-ordinate with matching Penny End T Hinges Black.

Tip: The thumb latch handle will always be fitted to the side of the door opening away from you, while the latch bar is fitted to the side opening towards you. Please take this into account if you are considering a Locking Staple, which is designed to be fixed to the latch bar side.

Please note: Beeswax is used as a natural protective layer and can be sticky to touch. Excess wax can be removed with a mild solvent, such as WD-40, and a soft cloth. Maintain your hand forged latch with an occasional rub of beeswax.

Free Delivery £80+:
Free UK Mainland* weekday delivery. Orders under 2kg ship via Royal Mail; over 2kg via DHL. Orders placed after 1pm, or Friday 12pm–Sunday, dispatch the next working day.

Standard Delivery Under £80:

£6.75 for UK Mainland*. Delivery in 1–3 working days. Same dispatch rules as above.

Next Working Day:

£9.00. Order by 1pm Mon–Thurs.

Morning Delivery:

By 10:30am (£21.50) or 12 noon (£14.00). Order by 1pm Mon–Thurs.

Saturday Delivery:
£25.00. Order by Friday 12pm.

We are closed weekends. Local collection available Mon–Thurs 8–4, Fri 8–2.

Returns accepted within 60 days (after this, a 20% restocking fee may apply).
Include a completed returns slip. Refunds issued once items are received and checked.
Free returns only for incorrect or faulty items. Items must be well-packaged and resellable.

Return items as above and place a new order.

Replacement Policy

We will replace any product that breaks or fails within 12 months. Email a photo and proof of purchase.
