Hinge Fronts Black in classic penny end and arrow end styles. Also known as Dummy Hinges, Hinge Blanks and False Hinges, these decorative straps are designed to be fitted to the surface of a door, where space restrictions do not allow for a conventional T hinge. Co-ordinate with our range of Hand Forged door furniture and Black Butt Hinges.

The black hinge fronts are individually hand forged from mild steel and have a traditional black coating with a layer of protective beeswax. Choose from penny end and arrow end styles in 15, 18 or 24 inch sizes.

Please note: Beeswax is used as a natural protective layer and can be sticky to touch. Excess wax can be removed with a mild solvent and a soft cloth. Maintain your hand forged item with an occasional rub of beeswax.

Sizing Tip: We recommend choosing a hinge size to cover between half and two-thirds the door width. For example: a standard 30 inch door would be best fitted with 18 inch hinges.
