Product Info

The heavy gothic latch in black is ideal for a heavy door. A traditional thumb latch design with discreet end plates and a flattened, smooth bow handle. This is a type of Suffolk Latch. Hand forged from mild steel and finished with a black coating and a layer of beeswax. The heavy Duty Gothic Latch is designed to co-ordinate with the Arrow End Hinges.

Tip: The thumb latch handle will always be fitted to the side of the door opening away from you. The latch bar is fitted to the side opening towards you. Please take this into account when choosing which way to hang your door.

Please note: Beeswax is used as a natural protective layer and can be sticky to touch. Excess wax can be removed with a mild solvent and a soft cloth. Maintain your hand forged item with an occasional rub of beeswax.

Not recommended for external use.

Free UK Mainland* weekday delivery. Orders under 2kg ship via Royal Mail; over 2kg via DHL. Orders placed after 1pm, or Friday 12pm–Sunday, dispatch the next working day.

Standard Delivery Under £80:

£6.75 for UK Mainland*. Delivery in 1–3 working days. Same dispatch rules as above.

Next Working Day:

£9.00. Order by 1pm Mon–Thurs.

Morning Delivery:

By 10:30am (£21.50) or 12 noon (£14.00). Order by 1pm Mon–Thurs.

Saturday Delivery:
£25.00. Order by Friday 12pm.

Returns accepted within 60 days (after this, a 20% restocking fee may apply).

Replacement Policy

We will replace any product that breaks or fails within 12 months. Email a photo and proof of purchase.
