IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Cast iron is a ferrous metal. The black coating on the latch offers rust protection, however oxidisation will occur in places where the coating becomes worn or damaged, especially around moving parts and screw holes. Before fitting and for ongoing maintenance, it helps to apply a light oil onto the moving parts to prevent corrosion. See our blog article How To Remove Rust Spots. - Returns are accepted within 60 days of purchase.
